The Fusion Hybrid is here and available for delivery. No long wait! This car gets 41 MPG in the city and can go up to 47 MPH on the electric motor alone. The coolest thing about this car (even though there are lots of cool things) is that it charges it's own battery. No plug in, no waiting for it to charge. The friction energy generated when the brake caliper rubs the rotor is used to charge the battery. The thing that I always wonder about "plug-in" cars is....wouldn't your electric bill just go up? That electricity has to be generated somewhere.
